(AgapePress) - The founder of a ministry dedicated to evangelism to Muslims hopes to equip Christians for spiritual warfare this weekend.W.L. Cati, a former Muslim, is founder of Zennah Ministries. February 19-21, she is hosting a conference called "Equipping the Saints for Battle" in Bradenton, Florida. She says the purpose of the conference is to expose the deceptions of Islam and other false religions, and to prepare Christians to confront those deceptions.
While Islam is the primary focus of the conference, Cati notes that it will also include seminars on other religious sects as well. "The Bible says in the last days that even the elect would be deceived if it were possible," she says, "so what we're trying to do is expose and uncover all the deceptions and all the different false religions."
And Zennah Ministries' founder says conference attendees are also going to learn how to take the truth of Christ into hostile territory. "We are going into the mosques," Cati says, "and I want to break off fear, because I think we have so much fear as far as Christians, and the Bible says to fear no one but the Lord your God."
Cati says the Equipping the Saints for Battle conference will present information revealing how far Muslims have already succeeded in infiltrating the United States and how much they want to turn the U.S. into an Islamic nation. She hopes conference participants will come away not only better informed, but also emboldened to go into Muslim communities and mosques and claim even those spiritual provinces for Christ.
"You know, the Bible says where we put our feet, we'll take that territory," the former Muslim says, and she wants to see Christians walk fearlessly and unapologetically to present the gospel into Muslim venues.
"We're going into these places. We're going in," Cati promises, "and we're not lying to them. We're not going in saying, 'Oh, it's a cultural thing.' We're going in saying, 'We're Christians. We love the Lord.' We want to come in and introduce who we really are. We're being bold."
Cati is the author of Married to Muhammad, a book that describes her experiences with Islam and her journey back to Christ.
