Student Says College Lets Faith-Bashing Prof Harass Christians

(AgapePress) - A student at Black Hawk College in Illinois says the school is backing a homosexual professor despite knowing full well that he harasses Christians and uses vulgar language in the classroom.
Born-again Christian Bob Stotler says the two weeks he spent in Dr. Bruce LeBlanc's sociology class were the longest of his life. Stotler says the former Catholic priest would often describe graphically how married heterosexual men would go to homosexual bars and have sex with other men.
The student says the homosexual professor tells many such vulgar stories in his classroom, uses class time to talk about homosexual sex and harass Christians about their faith, and also makes frequent derogatory comments about conservatives. Also, Stotler says, the college professor often boasts that, as a local church bishop in the Ecumenical Catholic Church, he marries homosexual couples.
But according to the student, school officials apparently could care less about his harassment of students and his inappropriate manner in the classroom.
LeBlanc once wrote a four-letter expletive next to the word God on the blackboard and asked students to write down what they thought of the words, Stotler says. But when the college student asked LeBlanc's department head whether the instructor's behavior was acceptable, she simply replied, "That is just how Dr. LeBlanc teaches."
But Stotler does not feel the university should be so nonchalant about it. "I believe Dr. LeBlanc should not teach again, ideally," he says. "I would like to see him sanctioned until the investigation goes forward and until they interview the rest of the class. And if it really happened the way I said, I believe the man should lose his job."
Stotler, who has dropped LeBlanc's class, says Black Hawk College refuses to take disciplinary action against the professor for his outrageous behavior. The student believes the school is afraid to fire LeBlanc because he is a homosexual.
