(AgapePress) - Missionaries from a television reality series are continuing their three-year journey to spread the gospel around the globe.

Travel the Road is a weekly TV series covering the adventures of 24-year-old Tim Scott and 28-year-old Will Decker as they travel around the world spreading the gospel. The series, currently broadcast on the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), follows the two as they make their way through 25 countries, across 40,000 miles, with each of them carrying a backpack, and change of clothes, and the message of hope in Christ.

The series is now in its second season. Producer Mike Scott says the show appeals to a wide audience -- not just those who are interested in missions.

"I always encourage everybody to take at least one mission trip in their life," Scott says. "This is a show that will inspire you -- even if you're just here at home -- to say, 'Hey, I can do more here. I see what these guys are doing. I can share in my workplace, I can do this.'

"It's definitely a faith-builder," he adds, "and it's also entertaining at the same time."

The two young missionaries will be in Afghanistan this month. Scott shares they were recently in war-torn southern Africa.

"One of the most amazing things is that as they go to the churches in these very areas that are war-torn -- you hear the gunfire -- [is that] these people so love the Lord, in just the way the worship," the producer says. "Even in these areas, as Tim and Will preach, they still see people touched by the message [of the gospel] and opening up to it. You see many people come to Christ in the episodes."

In May, Travel the Road will also be aired on I-Life, INSP, and Faith TV.
