Pro-Family Groups Applaud Homosexual 'Public Sex' Park Arrests

(AgapePress) - The leader of a Michigan pro-family group is commending a county sheriff for protecting children and families from being exposed to homosexual activity in a local park. Meanwhile, the group is keeping residents informed about areas in the state that homosexual activist websites are advertising as places where men can go to engage in public sex.
Eight homosexual men were arrested recently during a sex sting at Richfield County Park in Michigan. Among those arrested were a public school teacher and an assistant principal. One local pro-family leader, Gary Glenn of the American Family Association of Michigan, points out that these are not isolated events but, sadly, are all too frequent occurrences in communities throughout the state.
The AFA of Michigan and a group of Flint pastors are praising Genesee County's Sheriff Robert Pickell for protecting children and public health by making sure Richfield County Park does not continue to be used by homosexuals as a meeting place for sex. Glenn, who is the president of AFA-Michigan, says families have a right to visit a county park without being exposed to public sodomy.

"This is not an aberration, this type of behavior," Glenn says. "In fact, there are websites that advertise locations all across America where men can go to find other men willing to engage in homosexual acts in a public place, like a public restroom at a library, or a city park, or a rest stop along a highway."Sheriff Pickell is to be commended, Glenn feels, for his efforts to stop this activity in his area. Also, the pro-family leader believes the public school educators arrested for soliciting homosexual activity should be suspended from their jobs and removed from positions of authority over small children.
Glenn observes an alarming trend in reports of such criminally lewd behavior. "I went back and looked over the records of the incidents of this kind of thing that I have in my files," he says, "and it seems in almost every case, there are public school employees who are involved when there is an arrest made in a public park for men soliciting homosexual activity."
Two similar instances occurred in southeast Michigan, and another happened in Pittsburgh in the last several years, the AFA-Michigan president notes -- and in each case, he says, "public school employees were involved."
The Triangle Foundation, a Detroit homosexual activist group, has condemned Sheriff Pickell for cracking down on public sodomy at Richfield Park. Glenn, however, feels the community owes a debt of thanks to law enforcement officers who try to protect children and families from being exposed to sex acts occurring in public at locations promoted by homosexual activist groups as homosexual trysting places.
