All-Brand Ad in Homosexual Mag Signals Ford Motor's Loyalties, Says AFA

(AgapePress) - - A spokesman for a prominent pro-family organization says Ford Motor Company continues to push the envelope in its support of the homosexual agenda. He says that includes a new first: advertising in the latest issue of a raunchy homosexual magazine.
OUT Magazine claims to offer "a gay and lesbian perspective on style, entertainment, fashion, the arts, politics, culture, and the world at large." Articles in the May 2006 issue include titles such as "Nightlife: Party All the Time" and "Porn 2 Go." It also includes a full-page ad from Ford featuring all eight of its automobile brands. According to the American Family Association, which has called for a year-long boycott of the automaker for its support of the homosexual agenda, it is the first time in history that the company has advertised all of its brands in a homosexual publication.
Randy Sharp, director of special projects for AFA, says OUT is "egregious" in its sexual content. He believes that because the ad comes right after the highly publicized introduction of the boycott by AFA and other pro-family groups, Ford's intention is clear.
"[W]ithout question, [Ford is] renewing their commitment to the homosexual agenda, which includes as its top priority gay marriage in America," says the AFA spokesman. A recent Action Alert to his group's supporters encourages individuals to sign the online boycott "pledge" if they have not already done so.
To bring added credibility to AFA's argument, the Alert also includes links to the front cover of the magazine as well as an image of the ad, which includes the caption "Standing Strong with America's Families ...." AFA says since this ad was run in a homosexual publication, "evidently Ford considers two homosexuals to be a 'family.'"
It is because of the automaker's endorsement the homosexual lifestyle, says Sharp, that America must send a message to Ford on traditional values -- by touching it in its pocketbook with the continuing consumer boycott.
"I think the bottom line here is, Ford has made a decision that they will place a priority on the homosexual community over their dealers and over many of their customers," says Sharp, "and it's starting to show up in the bottom line of the marketplace with Ford's shares going down."
According to Sharp, Ford stock shares recently slipped to their lowest values in 20 years, which he says is directly linked to the company's decisions.
