Christian Businessman Encouraging Methods for Winning Souls to Christ

(AgapePress) - - A contest to help Christians witness more effectively has been launched by a Massachusetts businessman.

Donald Mitchell is a Christian businessman who runs a management consulting business. He recently kicked off a web-based contest that seeks the most creative and most effective soul-winning methods. Mitchell says the winner will co-author a book with him on the subject.

"We'll take the best alternatives that come in, and we'll be publishing them in one of two books," he explains. "One book ... will focus [on] what seems to be the best solution; another book ... will have 101 solutions that people have suggested."

The contest, he continues, is meant to encourage all believers to take part in the Great Commission, which is described in the closing verses of the Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 28.

"I think some of the better solutions will be ones that inspire lots of other people to take actions rather than ones that cause an individual to do it," the businessman shares. "We tend to think of evangelists and pastors as having this responsibility, but really it's one that we all have."

All proceeds from the books will be given to a Christian charitable foundation. Contest entries are due by Easter.
