TELLICO PLAINS, Tenn., (christiansunite.com) -- Individuals residing in East Tennessee are extremely upset with corrupt county, state and judicial authorities.Corruption appears to be a way of life after The Ten Commandments were removed from the court house in Monroe County. Complaints and investigations are numerous against individuals in the10th Judicial Circuit Court the County Mayor's Office and the Sheriff's Department. One such example is a Monroe County Sheriff's Department Jailer indicted for raping a 13 year old girl this week.
Many of the sheriff's department officers appear to have unresolved past histories with drinking, control issues and domestic spouse abuse. The sheriff's department and the county have faced 3 multi-million dollar law suites this year alone for unwarranted assaults against citizens and there seems to be no end to this senseless violence.
The 10th Judicial District Drug Task Force was forced to disband due to missing funds and drugs while Judges in the same district are letting murders and criminals off with little to no time served while denying victims their rights. One such case involved a missionary abducted and tortured in the 10th Judicial District last year where no investigation was performed by the district attorneys office or the sheriffs department, where officials knew the identities of the abductors becoming accessories themselves to a crime. One citizen involved in the CCC was asked "how do you propose to make a difference?" Daniel Morgan a father to three children responded "Just tell the truth it will set things right." "We have to be examples to our children, they follow what we do, I am ashamed of our county government, I am not raising my children to steal or lie to get ahead."
Constitutionally, every American Citizen is endowed with an inherent right and responsibility to hold public officials accountable for their actions, their oaths to office and particularly in moral issues that affect our communities. www.jail4judges.org
