A Daughter's Heart Cry

PUNJAB, INDIA (christiansunite.com) -- Ajaib was at her wits' end when she came to GFA missionary Mahtab for prayer. This 30-year-old woman lives in Punjab, India, where she is an active member of a GFA-affiliated church. However, she was worried about her family. They had no regard for Christ or any interest in hearing about Him. Ajaib had become a Christian, and as she grew in her faith, she began to feel a burden for her family.
Mahtab listened intently as Ajaib shared her heart's desire to see her family saved. He prayed for Ajaib and her family, assuring her that God can change the hearts of those opposed to Him. Ajaib was encouraged and strengthened by Mahtab's prayer.
She also committed herself to pray regularly for her family's salvation.
One day Pastor Mahtab felt the Lord's leading to visit Ajaib's home. He shared the Gospel with her family and explained from the Word the need for repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. The family was convicted and pierced to the heart by the Scriptures.
They received Christ into their lives right then. Ajaib was thrilled!
Now Ajaib and her family attend church together, learning more about their Savior. Mahtab and Ajaib ask for prayer that the family would grow in their relationship with Jesus. Also pray that the Lord will use Pastor Mahtab's obedience and Ajaib's prayers to reach many more with the Gospel.
