WASHINGTON, (christiansunite.com) -- Dr. Janice Shaw Crouse, Political Commentator for Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, said, "The mainstream media has joined the blogs in trying to make a political scandal out of the Palin family's personal problems and in trying to make a soap opera out of the daughter's mistake. The media attacks are over-the-top sensationalism and they must stop."Dr. Crouse added, "Attempts to blame Bristol's mother and to discount abstinence programs based on one teen's mistake marked an all-time-low in bottom- feeding journalism. Even feminists have shown their true colors in below-the-belt attacks against a woman just because she is conservative. Surely there is a tipping point when such distortions and character assassination will spill back on the vicious souls who dish it out."
Crouse continued, "Palin's nomination is a watershed moment for the American public. She has generated unprecedented excitement among grassroots Republicans and brought in millions of dollars to the election coffers. She engenders trust and brings freshness to a political process that has become too focus-group driven. Her experience includes managing a $10 billion budget and nearly 25,000 employees. She proves that a pretty face can be mighty savvy and that feminine grace can be very powerful."
Crouse concluded, "It's going to be a wild-ride of a campaign, but I'm betting on the Alaskan moose hunter, not the media's bottom-feeders!"
