FRANKLIN, Tennessee, (christiansunite.com) -- Franklin Springs Family Media, producers of quality family-friendly films and encouraging documentaries, announces the opening of The Franklin Springs Family Media Fund I, and names accomplished business entrepreneur, Steve Morales of Charlottesville, VA, as the fund's manager. Investors in the fund not only enjoy significant tax benefits through Section 181 of the Internal Revenue Code, but also the knowledge that they can have a tremendous influence on the nation's culture and families. According to Morales, half of this first fund's goal has already been reached."Investors will hold the distribution rights of five films for a period of six years, and receive on-going royalties after that," says Morales, "plus the new fund enables the ongoing production and distribution of broadcast quality DVDs that appeal to a target market hungry for family-friendly entertainment."
Over 35 million families with children live in the US, with 77 million Baby-boomers set to join 43 million retirees. "By serving this market, we have an unprecedented opportunity to make a difference with this fund," says Morales.
Franklin Springs Family Media recently produced ten original films that document the exciting reformation taking place among American families. "We enthusiastically subscribe to the idea that the family unit holds incredible potential in the shaping of a child's character - that family is where the greatest good can happen in a child's development," says Franklin Springs founder and award-winning producer/director, Ken Carpenter. "In response to the sad rise in the number of broken families, we want to set forth the vision for the fullness of a family life that honors God."
The Franklin Springs production team's diverse experience includes recent broadcast projects for John Tesh, Amy Grant, Joni Eareckson Tada, and a wide variety of highly-acclaimed projects for Michael W. Smith, Max Lucado, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jeremy Camp, Casting Crowns, PaxTV, The Gideons, and Compassion International.
Housed in historic Franklin Springs, TN, near Nashville, Franklin Springs Family Media is a fully- integrated film production studio, offering in-house script writing, HD cinematography, post-production editing, and DVD authoring, distribution and fulfillment. The studio maintains high production values while regularly creating fine quality films/DVDs for less than industry-standard budgets.
