Hope for the Heart Endows Chair of Biblical Counseling at Seminary

DALLAS, (christiansunite.com) -- HOPE FOR THE HEART, a leading international Christian counseling ministry led by June Hunt, joined the faculty of Southwestern Theological Seminary to install the HOPE FOR THE HEART Chair of Biblical Counseling. Elias Moitinho, Assistant Professor of Psychology and Counseling, was named as the first chair to occupy the position during a chapel service on Nov. 12.The organization endowed the Chair of Biblical Counseling to aid Southwestern in training men and women to provide the healing Word of God to a hurting world. June Hunt, founder, CEO & CSO (Chief Servant Officer) of HOPE FOR THE HEART, explained the evangelistic opportunities presented in counseling sessions and said, "This is, in many places throughout the world, how we will reach people for Christ."
