MEDIA ADVISORY, (christiansunite.com) -- Recent legal battles over Craigslist allowing adult orientated classifieds to be shown on its sites has caused an uproar within some of the online Christian community. Some argue that these styles of listings may encourage prostitution, and create an atmosphere that isn't as family-friendly as some would like. Whichever way you look at it, it seems that an option is needed. With the online Christian community growing to record levels, and classified websites becoming more and more popular, it seems a Christian Craigslist styled option has emerged. The website is called CHRISTools.com with the website slogan being "Uniting Christians. Everywhere." Could Christools.com be the next big thing for Christians and families on the internet?
According to Christools.com founder, Ben James, "Christools.com seeks to unite every Christian, everywhere, by allowing Christians from all over the world to post whatever they think may help others. Whether its Christian Classifieds, jobs, churches, bible colleges, testimonies, devotional, Christian resources, ministry information, prayer requests, Christian Businesses, the list goes on and on. Every listing is free and the atmosphere of the site is family friendly with people connecting and helping others."
All signs seem to point to it being a Craigslist list alternative for Christians and families. Internet user and mother Sarah Cave, when asked about CHRISTools.com says "As a mother, I'm so happy that there is now an alternative to Craigslist that my family can use, without me having to worry about the kids coming across an adult orientated listing"
