NOBLE, Oklahoma, (christiansunite.com) -- In the 200 years since Charles Darwin's birth, Western civilization has been impacted dramatically by the philosophy of naturalism, as a battle has emerged between religion and science.A new documentary by Creation Truth Foundation has just been released, "Darwin's Life and Legacy," the third episode of the "War of the Ages" series being produced in association with Icon Publishing Group ( www.thewaroftheages.com ). Dr. G. Thomas Sharp hosts the documentary on Darwin's life, shooting on location in London, Shrewsbury, and Down (Darwin's home), England and Normandy, France.
Incorporating interviews with such creationist icons as Ian Taylor and Dr. John Morris, this walk through the young life of Darwin, the study of his theory of evolution and his theory's impact on society has created an engrossing documentary, weaving classic locations with compelling commentary.
Sharp, president of the CTF since its founding in 1989, is one of the most sought-after speakers in the United States, and his dinosaur skeleton collection is extremely popular with audiences. His research throughout the last several decades has brought him to the forefront of understanding the direct link between a disintegrating society and Darwin's theory.
In "Darwin's Life and Legacy," Sharp explores the ramifications of Darwinian philosophy while strolling the beaches at Normandy, commenting on the fact that 20th century figures like Adolf Hitler justified their actions in part because of the "survival of the fittest" concept introduced by Darwin and his contemporaries (such as Herbert Spencer).
Sharp has a reputation in the creationist community for special insight into the philosophy behind naturalism, and those insights and commentary bring new understanding to "Darwin's Life and Legacy."
