MEDIA ADVISORY, ( -- Thousands of teenagers will flock to the Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, Ontario this weekend for a life-transforming event, which GOD TV will broadcast globally for 12 hours as a four-part LIVE program on Friday October 23 at 7.30pm; Saturday 24 at 8.30am, 2pm and 7pm. (EST).

Organised by Teen Mania, Aquire the Fire conventions are held in cities across North America and the Hamilton event is set to be a mega youth gathering with the latest youth bands: 'Thousand Foot Krutch'; 'Unhindered'; 'Manafest'; 'Everyday Sunday'; and recording artist, Stephanie Smith. A theatrical production will also be staged.

Inspirational messages will focus on themes such as 'Smitten by Love'; 'Listen to Love'; 'What's Love got to do with it?'; and 'Be the Encounter.' Speakers will include Ron Luce and Mike Guzzardo, who have co- authored the book 'BattleCry for My Generation.'

Ron Luce is the founder and president of Teen Mania, which has grown exponentially since 1986 to become one of the leading influences within today's Christian youth culture. Mike Guzzardo has dedicated his life to inspiring people to have a deeper commitment to Christ and is a frequent speaker at Acquire The Fire conventions.

"Acquire the Fire is built around bringing volume and clarity to God's voice in the lives of teenagers," says Ron Luce. "For more than two decades, Teen Mania events have delivered decision-making opportunities for Christ; pattern-breaking challenges for living 'real- life' with God; and future-shaping perspectives that help youth see themselves in God's big plan.

"For many youth this will be the experience of a lifetime as they participate in worship with some of the best bands and witness some of the most interactive ministry at a Christian event. We invite all GOD TV's viewers to join the hundreds of thousands of young people who will attend Acquire the Fire events this year and walk away transformed."

GOD TV has partnered with Teen Mania over the past three years to bring cutting-edge youth events to television screens around the globe and many more broadcasts are being planned for the future.

"GOD TV is committed to providing the best possible youth programming and we are privileged to work closely with Ron Luce and Teen Mania to impact young lives," said GOD TV co-founder and director of television, Wendy Alec. "Teen Mania are seeing great results as they present God in a relevant and contemporary manner and I know many people will be challenged to go further in God as they watch Acquire the Fire on GOD TV this weekend."

GOD TV can be seen from coast to coast across the USA on channel 365 of DIRECTV as well as on select local cable stations in cities such as San Francisco. Online viewers can watch LIVE at or via video on demand at
