Terri's Foundation Announces 1st Annual 'Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Concert' with Country Music Legend Randy Travis

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., (christiansunite.com) -- The Terri Schindler Schiavo Foundation is excited to announce the first annual Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Concert to be held at the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis, Indiana.This concert showcases two award-winning Country stars in a rare appearance together on the same stage! The legendary Randy Travis brings his twenty- two classic #1 Hits, and Collin Raye will perform with his romantic vocals and fifteen #1 Hits. It promises to be a fabulous music show, long to be remembered by country music fans. The concert comes just days after the fifth anniversary of Terri Schiavo's death and will benefit the Foundation established by her family.
The Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Concert will be Sunday, April 11, 2010, 7 PM at the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis; IN. Tickets will be available through LiveNation beginning this Friday, January 22, 2010. Ticket price $75.
With one of the most recognizable voices in country music and over twenty-five years on the country music charts, Randy Travis is one of the top-ten selling solo country artists of all time. Travis has sold over twenty- one million albums, has twenty-two #1 hits, six Grammy Awards, five Country Music Awards, nine Academy of Country Music Awards and ten American Music Awards to his credit.
Collin Raye has produced five Platinum Albums, fifteen #1 hits and twenty-four top 10 songs. Many in the industry call Raye one of the best vocalists and live entertainers around, citing his five nominations as Country Music's Male Vocalist of the year. But perhaps the closest to Collin's heart is his granddaughter, Hailey, who is afflicted with a rare degenerative brain disorder. Collin has worked tirelessly to help find a cure for Hailey and has helped other families who are faced similar situations.
Terri and her legacy continue to touch and change lives every day thanks to the work of Terri's Foundation, a 501(c) (3) tax exempt organization, established to educate and assist families - enabling them to better protect the rights and lives of their cognitively disabled loved ones.
