MEDIA ADVISORY, (christiansunite.com) -- Christians United for Israel has held over 100 'Nights to Honor Israel' in cities across America since 2006. Now its founder, Dr John Hagee, is hosting this special event in Israel and GOD TV will be at the Jerusalem Convention Center to beam it LIVE to viewers in the USA this week.

As the only TV network to broadcast globally from Jerusalem, GOD TV recognizes the modern State of Israel as a fulfillment of Bible prophecy and supports the Jewish people through projects such as its 'One Million+ Trees for Israel' campaign. GOD TV viewers are therefore encouraged to watch 'A Night to Honor Israel' LIVE on March 8 at 12.30pm with a replay at 9pm and on Tuesday March 9 at 3.30pm.

A Night To Honor Israel is an evening packed with outstanding speakers and music and is a non- conversionary tribute to the nation of Israel and the Jewish people of the world. Its purpose is to promote esteem and understanding between Christians and Jews and to emphasize the beliefs they hold in common

The motto of Christian Friends for Israel is: "For Zion's sake I will not be silent" (Isaiah 62:1) and GOD TV founders Rory & Wendy Alec share this conviction, along with the Biblical command to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6); to be watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem (Isaiah 62:6) and to bless the Jewish people (Genesis 12:3).

Dr Hagee is also the senior minister at Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX, and is featured regularly on the GOD Channel. His series 'All the Gospel to all the world' can be seen on Sunday mornings.

"Israel's time of need is now", he says, "there are new dangers in the Middle East which threaten both Israel and America and Bible-believing Christians must speak out and stand up for Israel. We must do whatever we can to protect Israel's 6 million Jews. Our faith demands it. Silence is not an option."

"The GOD TV family is committed to blessing the nation of Israel and praying for the peace of Jerusalem as we are instructed to do in Scripture" said GOD TV director of television, Wendy Alec, "so we call all believers to tune in and enjoy this special broadcast as it will open their eyes to God's plans for Israel and the Jewish people."

Rory & Wendy Alec will also be in Israel shortly to host the Global Day of Prayer LIVE from GOD TVs global transmission center and studios at the base of Mount Zion in Jerusalem on Pentecost Sunday, May 23, 2010.

GOD TV can be seen from coast to coast across the USA on channel 365 of DIRECTV as well as on select local cable stations in cities such as San Francisco. Online viewers can watch at www.god.tv, where many of GOD TV's programs are also available for video on demand viewing.
