MEDIA ADVISORY, ( -- Hundreds of thousands of men gathered in South Africa last weekend to hear passionate messages from evangelist Angus Buchan on God's power to transform lives. Now viewers across the globe can tune in and be a part of this mega event as GOD TV airs four sessions from Mighty Men 2010 -- on Friday 23 April at 9.30pm; Saturday 24 April at 7.30pm; and Sunday 25 April at 1pm and 7pm. (EST)

With an estimated crowd of between 350,000 to 450,000 people, Mighty Men 2010 was one of the largest men's gatherings South Africa has ever seen. More than 50 planes, thousands of vehicles and even helicopters brought delegates in from around the country. Held at Angus Buchan's Shalom Farm in Greytown, countless tents were set up across the horizon as people camped in fields and gathered around the massive stage where Angus challenged the vast crowds to make a stand for Jesus.

"I have farmed maize all my life, but I've never seen a crop of people as big as this," said the farmer-turned evangelist as he addressed the sea of faces at Mighty Men 2010. "Jesus took 12 men and changed the world. I see hundreds of thousands of men in this place. We need to seize the moment. The future of South Africa, indeed the world, lies in the believer, in your hands and my hands. God is asking you 'what are you going to do about it?'"

The founder of Shalom Ministries, Angus Buchan is devoted to nation building, encouraging men to take up their God-given responsibility and work for social change. He believes God is raising up a new generation of men in this hour to radically transform today's society and at Mighty Men 2010 he called on them to share the love of God in their homes, communities and places of work, bringing reconciliation wherever they go.

"You cannot love God with hatred inside you," he says. "This is why we are here, to get answers from God. There is a gentle spirit blowing through this place. I want you to open your heart this weekend. We need to make a stand for Jesus and call sin by its name and when we go home, we've got some business to sort out!"

Men of all different ages, races and theological perspectives attended the conference with many of the delegates referring to it as "the experience of a lifetime". GOD TV's coverage includes heartfelt praise as the 400,000 men lifted their voices in worship; testimonies of what God has accomplished in men's lives; and a family service attended by some of the men's wives and children.

"The Lord is using Angus Buchan to impact people's lives everywhere through his simple but profound teaching of the Gospel," said GOD TV co-founder and CEO Rory Alec. "I am especially moved to see so many men's lives being transformed for the Kingdom, because I know this means stronger marriages and families that are a shining example of God's love in action."

GOD TV has often featured Angus Buchan live at various events and his regular program, Grassroots can be seen on the GOD Channel on Saturdays at 7am (EST).

The GOD Channel can be viewed worldwide and all across the USA on channel 365 of DIRECTV as well as on select local cable stations in certain cities. Online viewers can watch at or at where many GOD TV's programs are available for video on demand viewing.
