MEDIA ADVISORY, (christiansunite.com) -- GOD TV will once again partner with the Global Day of Prayer (GDoP) to broadcast one of the Day's main events, direct from Cape Town, this weekend. GOD TV founders, Rory & Wendy Alec will host the program from the network's Broadcast HQ in Jerusalem, leading prayers for GOD TV viewers and the nations and GDoP founder, Graham Power will host the coverage from South Africa.

Each year hundreds of millions of Christians gather all over the world on Pentecost Sunday to come before God in prayer and repentance, and this year marks the 10th anniversary of this ground-breaking event, with a special celebration in Cape Town. GOD TV viewers can participate in the LIVE event as they tune in on Sunday May 23 from 5.30am through 3pm (EST) with a 3-hour highlights program on Monday May 24 at 2.30pm.

Over the past weeks the GOD TV family around the world have been trusting God for breakthrough for the Network and in every area of viewer's lives. GOD TV's partners have been sending in prayer requests and pledges by their thousands and the Network's founders will be presenting these to the Lord and petitioning Heaven for God's sudden intervention in people's lives, as they stand in faith for miraculous answers to prayer.

The Cape Town stadium event will include a prayer for the world that Christians in every nation on earth will pray. The broadcast will also feature well known faces on GOD TV such as: Cindy Jacobs, Ed Silvoso, Mark Anderson, Dick Eastman, Loren Cunningham, George Otis, Floyd McClung amongst others.

"As the eyes of the world begin to focus on South Africa for the 2010 Soccer World Cup, GOD TV is pleased to bring our viewers LIVE coverage of this nation leading the world in prayers of repentance," said GOD TV Co- founder and Director of Television, Wendy Alec. "As we humble ourselves and pray, we will see healing and revival come to our nations."

GDoP started off as a National Day of Repentance in South Africa 10 years ago and rapidly grew to include more and more countries. 2009 marked a milestone for this far-reaching initiative, as it was the first time every nation on earth participated, with Christians gathering in 218 nations and territories in groups of all sizes. GOD TV has covered the annual observance several times, bringing satellite links from across the different time- zones in marathon LIVE broadcasts.

GOD TV can be viewed worldwide and all across the USA on channel 365 of DIRECTV as well as on select local cable stations in certain cities. Online viewers can watch at www.god.tv/live or at www.god.tv/video where many are available for video on demand viewing.
