New Film Release Challenges Christians to 'Get Out' and 'Speak Up'

MEDIA ADVISORY, (christiansunite.com) -- Go Stand Speak Ministries in partnership with The Apologetics Group have announced the release of their brand new documentary film, "Go. Stand, Speak: The Forgotten Power of the Public Proclamation of the Gospel." (Previews can be seen for a limited time at GoStandSpeak.com.)

"Go Stand Speak: The Forgotten Power of the Public Proclamation of the Gospel" is not just a documentary on public preaching or "street preaching" but also includes an underlying message challenging self proclaimed Christians to stand up for Christ in the marketplace, in their job as well as in every sphere of life. The producers took the title in part from Acts 5:5, where the early Christians were told to "go, stand and speak all the words of this life in the temple."

Aside from its up close and personal look into the world of street preaching, the films contains dozens of expert interviews with a panel of some of the world's leading experts on public preaching: Ray Comfort, Tony Miano, Paul Washer, Dr. George Grant, Michael Marcavage, Greg Gordon, Rusty Lee Thomas, Jeff Rose, Shawn Holes and many more were interviewed for the film. Topics such as the Biblical mandate for public preaching, the history, legal concerns, the how-to's, the why's, along with underlying reasons why this type of evangelism is often looked down upon by the general public and Church.

Pat Necerato, founder of Go Stand Speak Ministries and co-producer of the film, hopes to see the fallacies and stereotypes associated with public preaching eliminated and a new level of enthusiasm generated within the Church for evangelism in every area of the Christian's life. With such a growing interest in this topic among Christians and non-Christians alike, Necerato believes God could use a film such as this to raise up an army of public preachers within our nation and beyond, and generate encouragement from those in the Church and those already out on the front lines.

Necerato says, "During this time in history, our families, churches and nation, need to hear God's Word proclaimed publically...now more than ever. We must get back to the biblical principles of obedience, leadership, education and morality. Not only is the hearing of the gospel the only way the lost can be saved, but it's also what God has called us to do to reform in our families, churches and our nation. The gospel of the kingdom must be proclaimed and obeyed just as scripture teaches. The Bible and history is full of examples of public preaching. Pastors, evangelists, elders and all who are called, must get out on the street, confront evil, and preach the gospel just as we see in scripture."

The film can be pre-ordered at www.GoStandSpeak.com and is available for Church rentals as well.
