BALTIMORE, Md., (christiansunite.com) -- Praylive.com has been under attack by domestic terrorism, ethnic intimidation and cyber bullying for the past few weeks. Because of the severity of these attacks, for the first time since its origin, Praylive temporarily shut down its 24/7 live, interactive internet radio station for a few hours in order to work on some technical issues. Wenda Royster, Founder of Praylive has stated, "It is incredibly sad that while Praylive has been a source of encouragement to so many people, especially during this time of unemployment, homelessness and sickness, there are those who are determined to stop it. But, we are not backing down. Hate groups will not take over!"The telephone lines, as well as the internet have been inundated with racial slurs, profanity and threats during their broadcasts. The various pastors and intercessors continue to stand at their posts. Whether on the radio or not, the "effectual, fervent prayers" continue to go forth. Needless to say, while annoying, such harassment cannot stop what God has ordained. In Fact, this has increased the strength of Praylive whose main function is to "pray."
The FBI has been contacted but has not given ample support. In fact, they have given patronizing statements such as, "please send us the information and we'll get back to you," as well as "we are aware of your situation." Praylive has complied with their request for tapes of the calls and as of this writing, there has been no further communication from the FBI.
Although the FBI has chosen to treat this so trivial, we have a strong weapon. Praylive is asking that the Body of Christ join with them in a corporate fast to come against these attacks which have been directed against them. This will also demonstrate to any hate groups, that "greater is he that is in me [us] than he that is in the world." If we all join together, the Power of the Lord will manifest, He will be glorified and, as some preachers have stated, "Satan will be horrified."
We are the Body of Christ! "If God is for us, who can be against us?"
