The Christian Defense Coalition Travels to London, Ontario to Stand with the Family of 'Baby Joseph'

MEDIA ADVISORY, (christiansunite.com) -- The Washington, D.C. faith organization is standing with the family as they desire to bring their 13 month old son home from the hospital.The courts and hospital have forbidden the family to take "Baby Joseph" home to take care of their son as he faces death.
Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, traveled to Canada to pledge support to the family and offer the assistance of the faith community in America.
Rev. Mahoney is specifically focusing on connecting the family to legal assistance and helping locate a hospital in America that would take "Baby Joseph" and offer support to the family.
He is also on a "fact finding mission" to share information with local churches, leaders, activists and faith organizations in America to motivate them to get involved in this case.
Rev. Mahoney comments:
"I have traveled to London, Ontario to stand in solidarity with this precious family as they face the unspeakable pain of losing their 13 month old son. We are here to serve them and offer the full support of so many in the faith community in America who are standing with them also. It is tragic that the courts and the hospital will not allow 'Baby Joseph' to spend what may be his final days in the loving arms of his family at home.
"It is the family that should be making the final decision on how to best to deal with how this beautiful child may be spending his final days. The courts and the hospital have completely disregarded the wishes of the family and are crushing their parental rights.
"We encourage all to be in continued prayer for 'Baby Joseph' and the family and pray that this is not the future of health care."
