CDC Reports Increase in Rates of STDs

      The just-released figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show an increase in the rate of all three of the major sexually transmitted diseases and a record high number of cases of chlamydia. Forty House Church Leaders Arrested in China

      Forty leaders of the China Gospel Fellowship (CGF) were arrested on November 18, according to a November 27 press release from China Aid Association. Planned Parenthood Grand Jury Delayed In Effort to Circumvent Law
December 3, 2007
      Planned Parenthood was denied their motion to dump a grand jury that was scheduled to begin an investigation of them on December 3. Johnson County District Court Judge Kevin P. Moriarty then granted Planned Parenthood's request to delay the seating of the grand jury until December 10 in order to give them time to file a mandamus action with the Supreme Court that will ask them to stop the grand jury.   Full Story...

Forty House Church Leaders Detained in Henan

      CAA learned that forty church leaders from China Gospel Fellowship were detained on November 18, 2007. One House Church pastor was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment in Gansu province for writing and distributing Christian literatures among Muslim believers.   Full Story...
